I was early for the bus on Easter Sunday morning so I decided to contemplate the view and be a little reflective prior to going to mass. I noticed that the donkey wasn't in his usual place down by the stable and saw that he was up the hill somewhat to my left. A few minutes later I was surprised to see him right in front of me. As I contemplated this animal's real life presence in the story of Holy Week and it's role in carrying Jesus into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, I sensed God saying to me that he would be the one to carry me through my life's journey and that he would gladly bear any burden that I had.
This "People Whispering" donkey just got a new best friend!
