Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

Today’s journey was filled with visits to significant sites, including La Valla and Les Maisonettes, from the humble cottage with its solid table crafted by Marcelling Champagnat to the beautiful Notre Dame Chapel at L’Hermitage we were immersed in another time, another world. The countryside and its scenery were breathtaking, the hamlets and quaint homes dotted along the hilly slopes against the backdrop of intense green gave one an appreciation of why Champagnat so loved this region. We were treated to a journey of narrated love when our tour guide, Br Louis, talked about the history of the hamlet and is so filled with passion for the leader and Founder of his order that one cannot help but be moved by his love. Our Good Friday liturgy at the Hermitage was very moving and inspiring.
